Rural Media Group, Inc. (RMG) is a privately held corporation, which owns and operates the world's largest portfolio combining rural-based satellite/cable delivered media and entertainment companies.

Launched in December 2000, RFD-TV is the first 24-hour television channel dedicated to servicing the needs and interests of rural America. RFD-TV’s programming is focused on agriculture, equine and rural lifestyle, along with traditional country music and entertainment.

The channel is now distributed into more than 41 million homes worldwide by DBS and cable systems including DISH Network (231), DIRECTV® (345), Comcast, Verizon FiOS TV (247), Mediacom, Charter, Optimum, Brighthouse, Suddenlink, Time Warner, Cox, and more than 600 independent rural cable systems.

In February of 2012, RMG launched its second channel, RURAL TV, which is now carried by DISH Network to its 14 million homes nationwide. RURAL TV programming features live news and daily market coverage with a focus on the business and policy issues of rural America. RMG's programming is available internationally and is currently being distributed into more than 52 million homes across 6 territories including the United States, Puerto Rico, Germany, Holland, South Korea, New Zealand and Australia by DBS, cable systems, IPTV and mobile services. Syndicated Program offerings include more than 55 family friendly television series from a program library of more than 5,000 hours.

Production originates in studios located in Nashville, Tennessee, for RFD-TV, RFD HD, and RURAL TV. Additional properties include, RFD-TV The Magazine with more than 170,000 paid subscribers for its bi-monthly publication and the company continues to operate RFD-TV The Theatre in Branson, Missouri.
